About the Book

Cover Vampires horrorVampires Horror Cult Classic

In great vampires horror stories, you don’t just kill for the money. It’s about personal satisfaction, about doing what has to be done, and about killing vampires no matte what it does to you.  And you drink? a lot. Some jobs just suck. This one bites.

But nobody does it better than Jack Crow, the leader of VAMPIRE$ Inc. His crack team of hunters takes down the blood suckers with a lethal combination of cojones and crossbows.

Vampires horrors hang in your dreams after members of Jack’s team are ambushed and slaughtered. Yet survival is in the works, providing the survivors rethink the vampire slaying strategy. With a new recruit from the Vatican? a priest who?s not afraid to wield a stake?and a sharpshooter loaded up with silver bullets, it?s payback time. The only problem is that the vampires have no intention of going down easy. They have their own hit list?and Jack Crow?s name is scrawled in blood right at the top.

Vampires horror by John Steakley

Titled on the actual cover: Vampire$ with the dollar sign intact. Professional vampire killers out to rid the world of vampires horror. And it’s not about the money from the kill. It’s about friends putting an end to something evil. It’s about bravado, male friendships, and a commitment to getting the job done. Expect foul language and heavy drinking; this is  Jack Crow, the man in the chain mail that makes a crossbow breath vampires horror blood. Leader of the pack, Jack seems to enjoy wasting words on foul content. Yet the book remains an excellent read for all horror fans.

It’s gaudy, action-packed and fundamental John Steakley excitement.

So… While reading Vampires horror, don’t miss Steakley’s most famous novel,

Armor… Without doubt, the most entertaining sci-fi war novel I have ever read.
